Our picnic today was quite lovely!
We had Jarlsberg cheese, chili olives, avocado, and crackers.

This picture is Nick - trying to be hot. You may notice a little smidge of vegemite smeared over that chest.

Quite a long time ago, when we first moved in, I planted a packet of “mixed flower” seeds.

Nothing happened for some time. After a while, we did some extra weeding, planted some other plants, and now out little flowers have started to string up.

Friday Day: Got a new job. Battled with anno bitchez.

Friday Night: Attended the opening of NewQ - a queerspace in newtown at the same premises of the new Black Rose Books (22 Enmore Road Newtown). It was lovely! Went home early though, because I was a bit tired and distressed

Saturday: Lazed effectively with Kalypso and the Sheilas. Had coffee with Beaver, did some shopping and cooking, yay!
Sunday: Went to the botanical gardens with RW and Kalypso. We took heaps of food, and just hung out, looking at the bats in the trees. Both RW and Kal forgot their cameras! I took this picture with my mobile phone. Terrible definition, but you can see the little batties! We decided to come back to the gardens again, and soon!
