It wasn’t quite this empty, but the bitter cold kept lots of people away. Those who did come enjoyed the film, which is great. Afterwards, we packed away hastily and ate some of the leftover food while drinking the leftover sangria in the kitchen.

Its not much, I know, but I am in the crowd scene of friday’s UnionsNSW meeting, which was reported in the weekend smh.
I think if you add up all the crowds I’ve been in, and that time I was on the news being ejected from a blockade of Australian Correctional Management, it will evenetually add [...]

Here is the watrered down union-bureaucrat friendly reportage of the UnionsNSW meeting yesterday. It’s been sanitized of any reference to general strike or indeed, and worker’s involvement in their own struggle. Fanya Baron was a russian anarchist revolutionary who worked with Makhno and was friendly with Goldman and Berkman. She escaped from [...]

Last night was fun. The Johnston-Forrest Tendency, Durritti and I went drinking, talking and eventually walking over an hour in the 2am cold (and me in bare feet for the last quater after my shoes rubbed me raw). We had talked about all kinds of things, but ended up in lewd laughter, recalling weird dreams, [...]
